About

We came from the trade, and it shows in the software

Atlas was born inside a pest control business, not in a meeting room. We ran the routes, hunted for a door code at eight in the morning, called back a caretaker who only answers on Tuesdays. The frustrations we fixed are the ones we lived first.

That is why the software knows what a unit is rather than an « asset », why a warranty is followed door by door, and why a quote carries thirty-seven pests instead of a free text field. A generic tool asks each company to bend it to their trade. This one arrives already bent.

Where Atlas comes from

From a pest control business running its days on a spreadsheet, a group chat and a route sheet printed each morning. It held until two technicians were out, three buildings called the same hour, and nobody remembered which unit had been treated the month before.

We looked for software. It all posed the same problem. Either it was generic, and a building had to be called « a site » and a unit « an asset ». Or it was built for teams of fifty, with a price shown nowhere and a salesperson to convince before even seeing a screen.

So we wrote it. Starting from the vocabulary of the trade rather than the vocabulary of software, and keeping the whole list of what had annoyed us.

What we refuse to build

Atlas issues no invoices and connects to no accounting tool. It computes no GPS route and follows no vehicle. It has no sales pipeline, no leads, no deal probability. These are not features running late, they are decisions.

Every function added to a piece of software makes another one harder to find. One more screen means a longer menu, a longer training, and one more chance that a technician in a hurry hits the wrong button. We would rather have a tool you can walk around in one afternoon.

Those limits are written on every page of this site, before the trial rather than after. Someone who needs invoicing will know it without having lost a week.

Improvements land one at a time

The team works on Atlas every day. No big release twice a year with a press note, but one improvement at a time, put online as soon as it works. Drag and drop on the schedule, notes, quotes, your company's colour on your documents, all of it arrived that way.

We move fast because we know what to fix. The ideas come from that first list of frustrations, and from what companies write to us. A remark on a Monday can be live on the Friday, and it happens.

If something is missing for you, write in. That is not a politeness, it is how this software gets built.

How we work

The price is public. Thirty-nine ninety-nine per month with one technician included, nine ninety-nine per additional technician, no commitment. There is no « enterprise » tier priced on request, and no discount to be negotiated depending on who is asking.

The live demo opens with no account and no credit card, carrying a full month of sample jobs. You can drag a job to another day, open a record, write a quote. It is the product, not a video.

And the trial runs five days. The card is asked at signup, nothing is charged before the five days are over, and cancelling happens from your own account, without writing to anyone.

Where the data lives

In a database hosted in North America, encrypted at rest and in transit, with a security rule on every table: an account can only read its own rows, and it is the database that guarantees it, not just the software.

Your data is yours. The full export, customers, buildings, units and jobs, downloads to a spreadsheet whenever you want it, without asking. That is what makes leaving possible, and that is exactly why we leave it open.
