Cookie policy
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file placed on your device when you visit a website. It is used, among other things, to make the service work and to remember your preferences.
What we place, and nothing else
- Essential cookies: required for the service to work, meaning your sign-in session and the security of the application. They cannot be disabled, and without them signing in is not possible.
- Preferences kept on your device: your language choice, and a technician's job sheet so they can work without a signal. These stay in your browser and are not sent to us.
- Your cookie choice ("atlas_consentement"): remembers for six months whether you accepted or refused analytics and advertising, so we don't ask again on every page.
Analytics, only if you accept
With your consent, we use Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited, with Google LLC in the United States) to learn which pages of the site are viewed, where visits come from and how many visitors go on to sign up. This covers the marketing site, the demo and the sign-up screens, never a signed-in account.
- Cookies set: "_ga" and "_ga_…", for 13 months at most.
- Data kept by Google Analytics: 14 months, then deleted.
- "atlas_provenance": remembers for 90 days how you found Atlas (campaign, referring site, landing page), to link it to your account if you sign up. Set only if you accept analytics or advertising; it never leaves Atlas.
- No advertising without your consent: Google's advertising signals stay off unless you also accept advertising (see below).
- Nothing before you agree: until you accept, Google's script is not loaded.
Advertising, only if you accept
We promote Atlas with ads on Google and on Meta (Facebook, Instagram). If you accept the "Advertising" option, these two services learn whether one of our ads brought you to the demo or to sign-up, and may show you Atlas again on their platforms. This covers the marketing site, the demo and the sign-up screens, never a signed-in account.
- Google Ads (Google Ireland Limited, with Google LLC in the United States): cookies "_gcl_au" and "_gcl_aw", for 90 days at most.
- Meta pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, with Meta Platforms, Inc. in the United States): cookies "_fbp" and, if you arrive from a Meta ad, "_fbc", for 90 days at most. Meta also uses this data for its own purposes, under its privacy policy.
- What is sent to them: the page viewed, the demo being opened and the sign-up. Never your name, your email or the content of your account.
- Nothing before you agree: until you accept advertising, none of these scripts is loaded. Accepting analytics does not mean accepting advertising.
Managing cookies
You can accept or refuse analytics and advertising from the banner, and change your mind at any time with the "Manage cookies" link at the bottom of every page. You can also set your browser to block or delete cookies. Blocking essential cookies prevents signing in to the application.
