Atlas fits U.S. pest control companies on points you can verify. You pick your state among all fifty and DC, and Atlas fills in no sales tax rate for you, since many states do not tax pest control and counties and cities add their own. Your EIN, once entered, prints on quotes. Arizona has its own time zone setting. Documents use U.S. Letter. Licensing stays with each state, and Atlas does not verify it.
Atlas is pest control software for companies that run technicians in the field. It is published by Fahria Agency LLC and runs in the browser, in English or French.

Sales tax, state by state
In your invoice settings you pick the state where you invoice. Atlas then leaves the sales tax line at zero and fills in nothing for you. Many states do not tax pest control at all, and where it is taxed, counties and cities add their own rate on top of the state's, often by several points. So you enter the full rate that applies where you work, once, and that is the rate charged. Atlas does not look rates up by address and does not update them.
An example, Houston and Miami
In Houston, the Texas Comptroller treats pest control on buildings as taxable, even when no pest is found, at the 6.25% state rate plus up to 2% local. A Houston company enters its full rate, state and local together. In Miami, the Florida Department of Revenue taxes pest control on non-residential property but not on homes. In Atlas the rate is set once for the account, and each invoice has an « Apply taxes » box. A Florida company serving both homes and businesses unticks it on residential invoices.
Licensing belongs to each state
Every pesticide sold in the United States must be registered with the EPA, and its label can be searched by EPA registration number. Applicators are certified by states, territories and tribes, under minimum federal standards. Business licensing differs by state.
- Texas. a structural pest control business license for each location, with minimum insurance.
- Florida. a license for each location, with a full-time certified operator and insurance.
- California, Los Angeles included. Structural Pest Control Board licenses in three branches, fumigation, general pest and wood-destroying organisms.
- New York. business registration with the Department of Environmental Conservation and a certified applicator on staff.
Atlas keeps your license number on your documents. It does not check it with any state.
Time zones, holidays and paper
Atlas offers the U.S. time zones, with Arizona kept apart because Phoenix does not change its clocks. Reminders go out on your company's local time. Holidays follow your state. Invoices print on U.S. Letter.
The words of the trade
- Estimate or quote. most U.S. companies say estimate. Atlas labels the same document a quote.
- EIN. your Employer Identification Number, printed on your quotes once entered in your settings.
- EPA Reg. No. the registration number on every pesticide label. In service reports, U.S. accounts pick their products from a catalog drawn from the EPA's own product database, with their EPA number.
What about the document library?
For the United States, the library offers the client handouts only, the bed bug, cockroach and ant preparation sheets and instructions, the inspection notice and the post-treatment notice, on your letterhead. The service agreements are not offered, since they have not been written for U.S. law.
What Atlas does not do in the United States
- No sales tax rate is filled in for you, state, county or city. You enter your own.
- The tax rate is set for the whole account. A single invoice can only apply it or leave it off.
- No service agreement template for U.S. law in the document library.
- It does not verify any license with a state.
- Reminders go out by email, never by text message.

No. Each technician opens a personal link on their phone, with no password and nothing to install, sees only their own jobs for the day and ticks them on site. There is nothing to install and nothing to learn before using it.
Yes, since August 2026. Atlas writes the invoice from your clients and addresses, applies the sales tax rate you enter for your state with your registration numbers printed on it, and emails it to the client with the PDF attached. Contracts come back on their own at the frequency you choose, and unpaid invoices are chased without you, three sends per invoice at most. Atlas takes no card payments, keeps no books and connects to no accounting software.
Yes, end to end. The office interface, the technician link, the client portal and the automatic emails all exist in English and in French, and each person picks their own language. That matters for a crew in the United States that works in both languages.
Every account is isolated and data is encrypted in transit and at rest, in a database hosted in North America. Every table carries its own security rule, an account reads only its own rows, and the database enforces it. The full export downloads whenever you want it, without asking.
